ELIGIBLE PROJECTS
Eligible Community Projects:
+ Construction of new, or upgrades to existing local community or sporting infrastructure.
+ Street beautification
+ Improvements to public places that promote health, happiness and wellbeing of community
+ Delivery of programs that benefit local community
+ Infrastructure to assist delivery of community programs
+ Hosting an event
Eligible Youth Initiatives:
+ Development of new, or upgrades to existing youth infrastructure
+ Delivery of youth programs and events
+ Must relate to the areas of community, wellbeing, connectivity and work readiness
INELIGIBLE PROJECTS
- Maintenance or construction of local roads
- Marketing, branding or advertising initiatives
- Commercial/private projects that benefit an individual or business
- Masterplanning
- Core government activities
- Retrospective funding to cover past projects, events or activities
- Ongoing operations costs beyond 3 years of the project delivery
- General works without a specific scope - must identify work required

NSW Government's Stronger Country Communities Fund aims to deliver crucial local infrastructure and programs to improve the quality of life of people living in regional NSW. Round Three is now open.
The Parkes Shire is eligible to apply for $409,017.50 for Community Projects and $409,017.50 for Youth Initiatives targeting 12 to 24 year olds.
